NOTE: We don't start charging until your alarm system is installed and programmed. When our monitoring station receives the first communication from your alarm, we'll then charge a part month fee based on the number of days left in the month. This way you don't pay for monitoring that you don't use!
To make it easy for you, we accept payment though direct debit. This means you don't have to worry about paying the bill each month. We'll send you an e-mail when your account is set up telling you how much your monthly bill will be. On the 12th of each month well automatically debit this amount from your bank account.
Installation of a new alarm system will incur additional costs, or if you have an existing alarm, it will need to be reprogrammed to work with our monitoring station. This is done by an alarm installer, who will charge for the work separately from our monitoring service. We normally suggest a suitably qualified and licensed installer in your area, and have them contact you to schedule the work. However, if you you wish to, you can find your own installer and organise this yourself.
Typical reprogramming costs are are around $99, but it could be more in some cases because some alarm systems are more difficult to program than others. Occasionally an existing alarm can't be re-programmed, and would need to be partially replaced (often the sensors are wiring can be kept and only the alarm box and keypad are replaced). Installing a new alarm from scratch starts from around $799, and can vary depending on the size of your house and the features you need. For an accurate quote, it's best to get an alarm install technician to visit your house. The easiest way to organise this is to sign up. Remember that we don't charge any monitoring fees until your alarm is installed and successfully contacts our monitoring station.
